The Position
Reporting to the Data, Platform and Pricing Manager an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Analyst – Data, Platform and Pricing to come and join our high performing team!
You will be responsible for owning and delivering Customer Rebate calculations and communications, as well as managing the data process to populate the global data warehouse.
Your role involves engaging in various business and functional analysis tasks, such as process mapping and documenting functional requirements.
An important part of this role is you will be tasked to analyze data and insights to inform strategies that align with our commercial objectives and priorities, while also providing backup for other key Commercial Experience processes as needed.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Provide sales data to Kynetec and review the provided ALIGHT rebate calculation in adherence to rebate agreements.
- Calculate outside of ALIGHT rebates templates (groups) in adherence to rebate agreements.
- Manage business approvals, generate upload files, and create BCTIs and rebate reports for communication to customers.
- Provide rebate estimates, analyses, and summaries to internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Cleanse and transform wholesalers’ sales data in preparation for rebate calculations and upload to data warehouse.
- Create new customer mappings and new SKU mappings based on data cleansing.
- Manage upload of historical wholesalers’ sales data on request.
- Advise on system capabilities and research new capabilities when developing customer rebate models in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure reporting improvements are efficient, functional, and easy to use.
- Create training materials and offer support to users after new dashboard roll-outs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to enhance existing reports or develop new ones.
- Identify wholesaler buying patterns and behaviours to inform sales forecasts and performance against monthly and annual targets.
- Use data analysis to support business unit tactical and strategic plans.
- Provide thought leadership and support to commercial portfolio owners by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments.
- Own and support Commercial Excellence projects as required.
- Pursue continuous improvement in data architecture and data processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Business, Commerce, or IT (or other relevant tertiary qualifications)
- Expert knowledge of PowerBI, PowerQuery, PowerAutomate, and Excel.
- At least 1 year of experience interrogating data warehouses with BI tools to generate insights.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial or data modeling.
- Experience working in large sales organizations.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst.
- Extensive experience in process mapping.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Effective collaborator and facilitator.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones.
