This is an in-office role in Franklin, TN
Here’s just some of what you will be doing daily…
- Incorporate design and brand guidelines for various communications pieces and visual media including reports, presentations, one-pagers, internal digital signage, etc.
- Produce design comps and copy layout; determining size and arrangement based on layout principles and aesthetic design concepts for print production.
- Utilize knowledge of stakeholder groups to ensure projects are executed with consistent branding and messaging, creating “fresh” and relevant designs and artwork.
- Under the direction of the Communications Director with input from the Art Director, provide concepts and ideas and collaborate on communication initiatives.
- Help maintain and update Digital Asset Management website and team file server.
- Assist with internal events as needed.
We are looking for a very specific skill set and business acumen. If you can say yes to each of these requirements, then we want to meet you!
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, fine arts, or equivalent experience, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years in-house or ad agency experience.
- Ability to deliver inspired concepts, quickly and intuitively, thriving under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of fundamental design principles that affect typography, composition, color, use of space and hierarchy of information.
- Skilled in the current version of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, with an understanding of Keynote and PowerPoint.
- Experience in Sketch, AfterEffects, and Premier is a plus.
- Experience in designing environmental graphics is a plus.
- Skills in HTML, CSS, and WordPress a plus.
- Experience using Canva and Capcut a plus.
- Experience with photography a plus.
- Possess a love for learning and creative thinking.
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and background experience to work — fast — in a team environment.
- Self- disciplined by nature and is comfortable with mega-multi-tasking, resolving competing priorities, and meeting project deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and efficiency. Possess desire to produce (almost) error-free work.
- A collaborative and flexible style, with strong service mentality. Need to be seen as a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/ministry relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the social sector with a passion for our mission and values.
