About the Role
Reporting to the Network and Security Manager, the Senior ICT Systems Consultant plays a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our clients' technical infrastructure. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems Management and Optimization: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of our clients' Citrix IaaS and datacenter environments to ensure 24/7 stability and performance.
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Lead the remediation of external cybersecurity advisories and contribute to proactive security measures. Manage daily security operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery planning.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their business goals and deliver tailored, secure solutions. Ensure client satisfaction through clear communication, issue resolution, and relationship building.
- Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership to the service desk team, driving problem resolution and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. Create and maintain detailed process documentation to enable efficient operations.
- Service Delivery and Improvement: Manage the implementation of technical changes, identify areas for operational improvement, and make strategic recommendations for enhancement.
- Billable Services: Ensure professional services meet billable targets, focusing on driving improvements in client infrastructure and operations.
Essential Criteria
- Professional IT Certifications (e.g., ITIL, Citrix, Microsoft)
- Strong technical expertise across industry applications, processes, and tools
- Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Proven ability to drive client engagement and deliver tailored IT solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of our client's service catalogue
Desirable Criteria
- MBA or advanced degree
- At least five years of relevant experience in a senior consulting or leadership role
- Relevant vendor certifications or qualifications
