Job Description

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Bilue, you’ll be at the heart of a high-performing, cross-functional team, collaborating with talented engineers, designers, and delivery managers. Together, you’ll tackle a diverse range of projects for a well-known and varied client base, delivering impactful design solutions that truly make a difference.

In this role, you'll apply your deep expertise in native mobile UX/UI design to research, ideate, and craft intuitive mobile experiences that are visually stunning and seamless across platform-specific devices. You'll continue to hone your skills in user research, prototyping, user testing, and interface design, ensuring that the unique requirements of native mobile environments are met with precision.

This role will empower you to grow and refine your expertise in mobile design, which is the foundation of what we do, while offering the chance to work across a variety of platforms, including web and beyond. Your passion for learning and innovation will drive best-practice design across a broad range of exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process, crafting engaging, user-centred solutions from concept to final design, ensuring high-quality, platform-specific user experiences across iOS, Android, and web.
   
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative feedback sessions to validate design concepts and enhance user experiences based on real user insights.
   
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and project managers in an agile environment, contributing to design discussions, aligning on requirements, and ensuring seamless integration of designs.
   
• Develop interactive prototypes and high-fidelity visuals that communicate the intended user flow and interface interactions, adhering to accessibility standards and platform-specific design guidelines for iOS and Android.
   
• Champion mobile design best practices, continuously learning and applying the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and techniques to elevate mobile design within the team.
   
• Work directly with clients to understand their objectives and pain points, presenting design decisions clearly and aligning on expectations to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
   
• Apply a commercial approach to design, balancing user-centric solutions with client needs, ROI, and business objectives.

Qualifications

About you:

• You’re an experienced designer with a strong focus on native mobile UX/UI for iOS and Android.
   
• With a deep understanding of platform-specific design principles, you create user-centric mobile experiences that are both visually compelling and highly functional.
   
• From user research to usability testing, you’re skilled at uncovering insights that inform intuitive designs, and you bring them to life with high-fidelity visuals and prototypes using tools like Figma and Sketch. (Ensuring they meet both platform and accessibility standards)

• You’re confident in your ability to communicate complex design ideas and insights clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical team members.

• You excel at navigating differing opinions and challenges, balancing the needs of both Bilue and our clients, to achieve the best outcome for all parties.

• A natural collaborator, you work effectively within agile teams, partnering with engineers, product managers, and clients to deliver impactful, user-driven solutions that align with business objectives.
   
• You bring a consultative approach to your work, balancing user needs with commercial considerations, and you’re excited to stay on top of industry trends and best practices.
   
• With a passion for growth, you’re also comfortable mentoring junior designers, sharing insights, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
