Your role at St John of God Health Care
You will play a key leadership role in driving our hospitals and services transformation into a data-driven powerhouse. You will be responsible for overseeing the widespread adoption of the new data and analytics platform empowering clinical and non-clinical users at all levels to leverage data for informed decision-making to optimize performance and achieve strategic and operational objectives.
The Position
Champion Data Adoption: Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy specifically designed to drive widespread adoption of the data platform across all of our Hospital facilities, Group Services and other Services.
Build Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with business stakeholders to secure buy-in and champion the value proposition of the data platform co-develop an approach to improve processes and practice.
Communicate Data Vision: Translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non/less-technical stakeholders. Leverage data visualization and storytelling techniques to create compelling communication materials suitable for a wide range of users from nurses and doctors, front line care staff to supporting functions both in hospitals, services, and group functions.
Develop Data-Driven User Journeys: Partner with business stakeholders and the data science team to identify key data needs and deliver impactful use cases that demonstrate the value of the platform.
Cultivate a Data-Driven Mindset: Develop and implement a data literacy program that goes beyond basic training. Encourage exploration, analysis, and storytelling with data to empower users to leverage data for informed decision making.
Launch with Confidence: Collaborate with the project delivery team to ensure a smooth and successful platform launch.
Measure Data Fluency: Develop metrics and track progress to assess the effectiveness of data literacy initiatives, including improvement for Patient Experience, Clinical Outcomes, cost savings/ revenue generation and the experience of the Doctors and (caregivers) that deliver services .
Champion Advanced Analytics: Stay up-to-date on data management trends and best practices. Advocate for advanced analytics initiatives to propel the organization towards a data-driven future.
You will have a proven track record successfully developing and executing data adoption strategies that drive user engagement with data and analytics platforms, along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will have knowledge of change management principles, models, tools, techniques and methodologies and possess strong negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills.
To succeed you will have minimum seven (7) years experience leading and managing data-related projects, and possess a tertiary qualification in Change Management or an Analytics discipline (or equivalent certification with relevant work experience) Previous experience in a hospital/healthcare based organisation is an essential requirement.

Fixed term Full Time position working 76 hours a fortnight (12 months duration, possibility of extension)
Role can be based at our Perth CBD office or Melbourne CBD office
