Position Description

Based in Sydney, New South Wales.

As part of the OC ANZ Capability Team, the Solution Capability Leader (SCL) / Practice Manager - Digital will be responsible for

  • developing & leading a high-performance team,
  • building strategic customer relationships,
  • driving pre-sales and growth, working with sales team,
  • identifying, developing and gathering innovative solution capabilities, IP and service offerings
  • providing best in class services & ensuring customer satisfaction,
  • ensuring quality, timely and cost-effective solution outcomes, via hands-on governance and review of projects from pre-sales through to customer outcomes

You will have an understanding of digital technologies and data and how these can be applied to enable our customers drive outcomes. 

To achieve this, the SCL would develop the Technology capability team, foster alignment with internal collaborators & drive operational excellence, whilst supporting best-in-class customer engagement assuring retention and expansion of the Oracle customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working towards the strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the team, quality of consulting delivery, & maintaining customer satisfaction and advocacy
  • Be a hands-on mentor with high levels of energy, passion, creativity & enthusiasm
  • Ensure solution delight & adoption for our customers
  • Drive pre-sales and bookings growth for the practice, working with sales teams
  • Lead staffing & capacity planning to ensure the right capacity & capability and utilization, developing product, industry & soft skills across your team, coach, handle & develop your team
  • Ensure Solution Governance for projects where your solution pillars are being implemented
  • Empower & develop a team of highly skilled Consulting professionals to be highly proficient, fully certified in the appropriate Oracle Applications/Technology stack, driving high performance & individual career growth
  • Drive employee delight to attract & retain a committed team
  • Maintain a personal billable utilization
  • Run IP harvesting & reuse across projects for your solution pillar
  • Measure & assess group goals & performance against specific outcomes
  • Advise & ensure the implementation of operational policies within the team
  • Establish strong, enduring & collaborative relationships with Customers & other Oracle LOB’s
  • Build customer & partner relationships to ensure excellence in service delivery & solution delight
  • Anticipate opportunities for improvement, and/or handle escalations for solution & capability issues to achieve positive outcomes and influence policy/practice to streamline engagements
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the OC ANZ Applications & Technology Practice

 



Responsibilities

Knowledge & Experience

  • Proven experience (10+ years) relevant to the position, including 3+ years of Consulting management experience
  • Direct line management experience including project, people & customer
  • Senior-level Customer facing skills to represent Oracle & drive discussions regarding solution benefits, alignment, best practices, & risk mitigation
  • Able to articulate solutions with respect to the business requirements of the customer
  • Experience in establishing & effectively leading a delivery team including management of key consulting KPI’s
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication & leadership skills
  • Ability to work within a dynamic & complex environment
  • Able to network & develop strong business relationships

Mandatory Skills

Experience in Oracle PaaS and SaaS Products are preferred, however not mandatory. Oracle Products supported by the SCL include Oracle APEX, Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle Responsys, Oracle Eloqua, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Oracle GenAI and ML Services – Digital Assistant, Language, Document Understanding.

You will require expertise in at least two of the Solution Pillars you are responsible for including:

  • Digital Experience (Web and Mobile Development, Cloud-Native Solutions, etc.)
  • Customer Experience Technologies (Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platforms, Analytics, etc.)
  • Analytics (Business Intelligence Tools, Data Warehousing Solutions, etc.)
  • Reporting (Transactional Reporting, Business Intelligence Reporting Tools)
  • AI/ML (Chatbots, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Anomaly Detection, Forecasting)
  • Expert Knowledge of one of the domains above is essential, and reasonable knowledge across others is preferred.
  • Experience in PaaS architecture and design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
