About the role
To provide leadership for the team on shift, by leading and developing the health and safety culture, setting, and achieving production priorities with the emphasis on production efficiencies and contribute and implement continuous improvement of shift operations.
What will you do?
Provide leadership for the Shift team
Leading and developing the health and safety culture
Setting and achieving production priorities with the emphasis on production efficiency, throughput, and status reporting.
Contribute and implement continuous improvement of shift
Lead by engaging with the team on the shop floor and work with them to solve issues.
About you
You would have 8- 10 years’ experience with good leadership/people management, communication, and decision-making skills with experience in manufacturing / operational environment. Excellent understanding of the Health, Safety & environmental procedures. Understanding of financial/accounting principles and employment legislation. Experience with ERP systems and Stock Management. Technical Experience is an advantage (Plastics/Mechanical/Electrical)
